Indian wrestlers doing good at world stage

Sushil Kumar who has won two medals at the olympics one at bejing in 2008 and London in 2012, Yogeshwar Dutt winning bronze in 2012 olympics has taken the Indian wrestling to great heights and hoping for much more medals at the Rio olympics in 2016. But the real boost came at the world champioship in Hungary where 3 medals came 1 silver and 2 bronze which shows that wrestling is growing in stature and the youngsters wanted to take this game.

I think the likes of Amit Kumar, Bajrang Singh and Sandeep Yadav has done is a big achivement for them and earning India a maiden world cup berth. It was great to see that these 3 received support from the media and also from the people. The Indians are not far behindbehind Iran, Russia, Georgia, Ukraine and USA. The greco roman style in which India has never won a medal but by doing this he has shown to the world that India have talent but they have to be nurtured. Winning 10 medals in all is great achievement. The women's team needed more training so that they have chance of winning a medal in the olympics.

I think Sushil Kumar wining two medals at the biggest stage of all has inspired the other wrestlers and if the indian wrestlers do well in the world cup where the toughest competitors will come it will be a big boost for the country.

The Indian team created history by doing well. I think India should focus on creating a good bunch of youngsters so that a pool of players can compete well at the world stage.

Lets hope that this game can become the 1 sports and come neck to neck with cricket. As an Indian fan i would love to see this game to gain popularity and other players should be trained in such a manner so that they can win more medals at the big stage which is not easy.

The dedication that these Indian players have put on has been great training hard with the coach Satpal singh, Sushil Kumar has started this trend. Amit kumar who won silver at 55 kg and Bajrang kumar in 60 kg. The biggest achievement was Sandeep Tulsi Yadav in which India has never a medal. Sandeep credited this achievement to Sushil Kumar. He said that Sushil Kumar inspired him to win medal.

In the recently concluded Asian games Yogeshwar Dutt won the gold medal in Asian games after a long time and Bajrang also won the silver. Other young wrestlers did a good job by winning 3 bronze medals. With lot of training and hardwork they can achieve a lot of success. Also in CWG 2014 the Sushil Kumar and Yogeshwar Dutt won gold medal. The Indian women wrestlers did won gold 2 medals.
