is the time for wrestling to exit in the 2020 olympics

Today is the day when it will be decided that will wrestling  be there in 2020 Olympics to held in Tokyo? The competition is between Squash, Softball and wrestling. This will be a big loss for the Indians who has done so well in this game winning 3 medals one in 2008 and 2 in the 2012 Olympics. This game is played is played by Turkey, Bulgaria , India and various other other countries. India has several wrestlers which have competed with best and if this game is taken out in the 2020 Olympics it will no good for Indian wrestlers who want to take this game. The 2016 Olympics to be held in Rio can be the last opportunity for our wrestlers and other countries who participate in it and the audience to get a glimpse of it. I think wrestling has lot of telecasts on DD sports which and lots of crowd in the stadiums has attracted a lot of people and because of the people not knowing the rules they are not aware about the game. Sushil Kumar, Yogeshwar Dutt has made the country proud by winning medals at international level.

Softball which is played by the Americans is new game for the Indians. I dont think that if included in the 2020 Olympics it not for the Indians and the telecast of this game is not great. I think softball should not be included because there are no players of India and it needs a lot stamina which is problem for India.

Squash in which there are decent players for the Indians and rest of Asian countries is the best competition with Wrestling. The TV broadcast of this game is ok as compared to Softball. It has to seen that Olympic association must see to that what can be done to retain wrestling which is very old game.

The Indian supporters are hoping that wrestling stays in the 2020 Olympics and I feel the right decision must be made to let the game remain in the prestigious tournament.I dont think that wrestling should exit because it has gained the attention of the audience and the television rights is great when the Olympics is taking place. For ex in the London olympics 2012 the news channels like Star News, Aaj Tak were showing updates of wrestling games and expert opions of the games of Sushil Kumar.

  The defending Champions India registered a commanding win in the 2 nd semi-finals against South Korea of the Asian Champions Trophy 2024 played in Hulunbir, Inner Mongolia on 16 th September. Indian team began the first quarter on a good note with Abhishek's reverse flick shot saved by Korean goalkeeper Kim Jahean. After the initial domination, a superb pass by Arijit with a goal by Uttam Singh in the 13 th minute to give India a 1-0 lead.   The defending Champions England qualified for the semi-finals with a thrashing of the USA in a must-win game played at Kensington Oval, Barbados on 23 rd June 2024. England captain Jos Buttler won the toss and decided to field first. Reece Topley struck in the first over dismissing Andries Gous with a simple catch to Salt. Nitish Kumar and Steve Taylor steadied the ship for the USA. Sam Curran dismissed Steve Taylor caught by Moeen Ali. Taylor and Nitish Kumar added 34 runs for the 2 nd wicket.
