Sachin Tendulkar- God of cricket(is the time over)
Playing 200th test match for any cricketer is dream but this man who has done the country proud by making records is great achievement. When he began his international carrier no one thought that the genius would play for 24 years. He has become a role model for youngsters in India and an brand ambassador for world cricket. I think Sachin Tendulkar who's record is beyond imagination should decide wheater he wants to play his 200th test match in India or be a part of winning team in South Africa.
This liitle genius who scored the 1st double ton in ODI's was a biggest achievement. His form in the past 2 years has not been impressive but what he has done for the Indian cricket cannot be matched. As an Indian fan i would love to see the god of cricket to play 1 more year of test cricket because his experience would be needed with lot of youngsters in team. Scoring 100 centuries in international cricket is not an easy task but his determination to play under tough situation was a big plus. The fab four of Indian cricket ie Sachin tendulkar, Sourav ganguly, VVS Laxman and Anil Kumble has done so match outside India.
I think Sachin Tendulkar role in Indian cricket is huge because to guide the youngsters and tell them the basics of cricket. The Indian community all over the world come to watch this genius and play crucial knocks. He has done so much the in world cups but winning the 2011 world cup on his home ground will be the best moment he has had so far. In ODI's the pair of Sourav ganguly and Sachin tendulkar was nice partnership as both were boundary hitters.
But now for the past 2 years his form has dipped. I think his dedication to cricket is great. His ability to play lofted strokes, pulls, straight drives, cuts is his strong points but the bowlers has found loopholes in him and he been bowled regularly.
There are talks going on that after the West Indies series in India where he is going to play 200th test match will he retire or not is the question. I think the decision must be left to him to leave or play on. The cricketing fraternity has huge respect as he has been compared Sir Donald Bradman.
