Final four battle start in champions T-20
After 20 matches in the league stage of the tournament it is now the battle between four teams in which there are 3 IPL teams the Chennai Super Kings, Mumbai, Rajasthan and the West Indies team Trinidad and Tobago. Chennai super Kings who won 3 matches and lost the last league match has to play the Rajasthan Royals in the first Semi finals which is going be cracker of match. Chennai which has strong batting line up failed in the last league match against the T&T. I think the first semi final and the second Semi final are going to a close one.
Mumbai Indians who was in pressure to win their last match of the league stage to better their net run rate did qualify in fine style getting to the target in 13.2 overs. Mumbai Indians can be dangerous side with quality strokeplayers like Dwayne Smith, Pollard, Rohit Sharma, Dinesh Karthik and class bowling in the form of Harbhajan, Ojha, Johnnson.
The Trindad and Tobago has played with freedom. The bowling line is good with likes of Narine, Rampaul, Badree, Emrites and some powerful hitters like Lewis, Simmons, Bravo, Pooran and other strokeplayers. This bowling line can defend the score put up by batsman. The pitch in Delhi would suit them because it is slow and low.
The Rajasthan Royals have done so well in the tournament winning 4 out 4. It has no big match players but playing at the home ground can be a big advantage. The Chennai super king is fantastic side with big match players like Hussey, Raina, Dhoni, Dwayne Bravo.
I think in the group stages Otago Volts played very well in the first 2 matches but losing to Rajasthan Royals played very well to defeat them and knock them in the competiton.
The pitches in the tournament has been wonderful in the 4 venues and in Delhi it was difficult to time the bowl. Dhoni batting against the Sunrisers Hyderbad was the highlight of the show smashing 34 runs of an over with 5 sixes.
I think the Perth Scrohers missed their key players and Sunrsiers Hyderbad played one bad game against the Titans and their hopes washed away when the match against the Brisbane Heats was washed.
