Can India bounce back in the tests against South Africa?

After a disappointing ODI series in which  the Indian  team lost 2-0, the MS Dhoni led side is looking to  turnaround the performance in the test series. The Indian batting which has won so many tournaments in 2013 has not been able to create any impact in this series.Shikhar Dhawan, Virat Kohli, and Rohit Sharma who are the top scorers in ODI's this year have not performed as expected. Since these three players have been key to India's success in recent times, South African bowlers were able to put pressure on them and win the first two matches easily. In the test series the Indian batsmen should play the South African bowlers cautiously and attack the lose balls.

The Indian bowlers  in these three matches were poor and gave the South African batsmen too much width. The opening pair consisting  of  Hashim Amla and De kock scored the runs at will. The most impressive bowler in Indian team has been Shami Ahmed picking 9 wickets in 3 matches which shows that this young bowler can destroy any batting line and in test series the responsibility is on the young pace bowler, Zaheer Khan who has been a mainstay and making a comeback in the team. I think this young Indian  team can defeat the South African with a good pace attack.

The pitches at Wanders and Durban are going to good for batsman and bowlers. If the bowlers bowl right length they can get bounce and pace, if batsman are patience they can get value for their shots. As an Indian fan i hope that the ODI defeat can spur them up. The batsman has to score around 300 to give the bowlers a chance and exploit the weakness.

The South African pitches have bounce and pace which they have not been used to but if they can do well three departments they can surprise the pro teas. So let hope for the best.
