The Hockey India league which has 2 seasons have bought out new Indian talent. These youngsters have learn a lot from the experienced international players. Hockey which is our national game should go to smaller venues so that the people of that state can watch the matches live. There were 5 teams last year and now this year 1 new team has been added. The names of these teams are UP wizards, Delhi Waveriders, Punjab Warriors, Ranchi Rhionos, Mumbai Magicians and Kalinga lancers.The young Indian players by showing their talent to the world can become mature and do a brilliant job for the Indian team at the highest level.
The members who are not in Indian hockey team this league provides an chance for them to rediscover their form and get back into the team.
