A credible performance by Sindhu at World championship
PV sindhu who lost her semi final match but she made the country by winning back to back medals at world championship. She played some grueling matches in the pre quarter finals and quarter finals against tough opponents.
After losing the first set against Bae, she was on the verge of losing the match but in the second she came back from 12-16 to win the set and then she won the match which showed her fighting spirit. She raised the standard of game and proved that she is future of Indian badmination with Saina Nehwal who lost in quarter final. Apart from her will not to give up she showed the chinese player can be defeated . In the quarter final she showed same spirit. After losing the first game 19-21 she was trailing in the second game but she some heart and won the set 21-19,but in the third set both the players were fighting for each point and then at 15-15 , Sindhu raised her game and won the set 21-15.
Her two medals in world championship shows that the Indians women are showing their talent. This proves that the Indian badminton are on the up. In the recent CWG 2014 P Kashyap won a gold medal . Sindhu has to work on reducing the unforced which are not allowing her to play her natural game.
Sindhu after this has to play the Asian games in 3 weeks. If she has to win the medal the main idea should to work on the fitness. She will be pitted against the Chinese, Koreans, Japanese which will more challenge than the CWG. Lets hope that PV Sindhu and Saina can rise to expectations of the people.
In the yesterday match she was not up to the mark and Marin played a much better game. She lost in straight sets 21-15,21-15.
