Predicted India XI for 3rd ODI

After sealing the series, India will take on England in the 3rd ODI at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. With the Champions Trophy around the corner, it is a chance for the players to cement their place in the squad. Here we look at the predicted XI for 3rd ODI.
1.       KL Rahul
KL Rahul performance in the ODI series has been poor so far. With Rohit Sharma coming into the squad, KL Rahul need to perform well in the 3rd ODI at Kolkata to make a case in the Champions Trophy that is going to be held in June.
2.       Rahane
Ajyinake Rahane will be the opening partner for the third One day International. With Shikhar Dhawan out of form and injured his left finger, Rahane should come into the playing XI and play with positive attitude.
3.       Virat Kohli
After scoring a brilliant century in the first One day International, captain Kohli was dismissed cheaply for 8 runs at Cuttack. He will be looking to score big and gain confidence ahead of the big tournament Champions trophy.
4.       Yuvraj Singh
Yuvraj Singh scored a match winning knock of 150 when the Indian team were struggling at 25 for 3. He played excellent shots and put pressure on the England bowlers. It was his first century after the World Cup 2011 and hopes to continue his excellent form in the 3rd ODI.

5.       MS Dhoni
MS Dhoni showed his class with bat by scoring 134 runs. He put on 256 runs partnership for the fourth wicket which helped India to post a massive total of 381. With no more ODI cricket till June, MS Dhoni will be looking play freely and with positive attitude.

6.       Kedar Jadhav
Kedar Jadhav played a cameo knock of 22 in 10 balls during the second ODI at Cuttack. He bowled well in the first four overs. He did not pick wickets but bowled with control not allowing England batsmen to score runs easily. In the final ODI, Kedar Jadhav would be looking to contribute with bat and ball.

7.       Hardik Pandya
Hardik Pandya was expensive during his bowling at Cuttack giving away 60 runs in his 6 overs. He scored 19 off 9 balls while batting. The third ODI will give him a chance to improve on his bowling and give an option as the third pace bowler for Champions Trophy.

8.       Ravichandran Ashwin
Ravichandran Ashwin bowled well in the second ODI at Cuttack after poor performance at Pune. He picked 3 important wickets which did not allow England batsmen to score runs easily. Ashwin took wickets of Joe Root, Ben Stokes and Jos Buttler which broke the backbone of batting line up. In the third ODI at Kolkata he would be looking continue to perform well.

9.       Ravindra Jadeja
Ravindra Jadeja was the best bowler in the 2nd ODI match at Cuttack. He bowled with an economy of 4.5 runs per over on a pitch which suited the batsmen and contributed 16 off 8 balls. During his 10 overs he picked the important wicket of Jason Roy. The third ODI would be ideal chance for Jadeja to play well.

110.   Jasprit Bumrah
Jasprit Bumrah went for 81 runs in his 9 overs during the second ODI at Cuttack. He was expensive in the first ODI too. In the second ODI, he picked 2 wickets. The third ODI gives a chance for Bumrah to improve on his performance from the first two ODI matches.

111.   Bhvuneshwar Kumar

Bhuvneshwar Kumar did an excellent job in the second ODI match at Cuttack. He bowled well in the start by bowling consistent line and length. In the death overs Bhuvneshwar Kumar bowled Yorkers and slow ones that did not allow England batsmen to score runs easily. The final ODI at Eden Gardens, Kolkata will help him to improve on good performance.
