Indian squad for the remaining two test matches announced
BCCI have announced 15 man squad for remaining two test
matches against Australia to be played at Ranchi and Dharamshala. Hardik Pandya has been dropped from the team.
Despite Rohit Sharma and Mohammad Shami recovering from injuries has not been
included into the squad.
The third test of series will be played at Ranchi on 16th
March. India came back strongly and levelled the series at 1-1 after losing the
first test match at Pune by 333 runs. Murali Vijay who did not play at
Bengaluru is retained in the 15 man squad. With one week remaining for the
third test match at Ranchi, Vijay appears to have recovered in time.
India is going into the remaining two test matches
unchanged. Mukund played in the second test match. KL Rahul played a key role
in the second test match scoring 90 and 51 winning the man of the match award.
Pujara who scored important 92 in the second innings will
play crucial roles in the remaining test matches. Virat Kohli has not a great
series so far and would be eager score big runs in next two test matches.
Rahane and Karun Nair are the other two batsmen in team who are important
members of the team.
In the bowling department, R Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja
played a key role in helping India level the series. Jayant Yadav and Kuldeep
Yadav are the other spinners in the 15 man squad. The fast bowling department
consists of Umesh Yadav and Ishant Sharma who has done well in the first two
test matches. The third pace bowler will be Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Here we look at
