Pro Kabaddi League 2019: Bengaluru Bulls register an empathic 47-26 win over Telugu Titans
The Defending Champions Bengaluru Bulls registered an empathic 47-26 win over Telegu Titans at Patliputra Sports Complex, Patna on
Thursday.
It was a dominating performance by Bengaluru Bulls side
right from word go. Rohit Kumar got the first 2 points for Bulls side with a
brilliant raid. Siddarth Desai got Telegu Titans off the mark getting Mahender
Singh out. Pawan Sherawat made it 3-1 in favor of Bulls with a brilliant raid.
Telegu Titans equaled the scores at 3-3 as Siddarth got a raid point and then
Rohit Kumar was tackled by Amit Kumar. Siddarth Desai made it 5-3 in favor of
Telegu getting 2 points getting Amit Sheron and Saurbh Nandal. Desai was
tackled by Pawan to give Bengaluru a 6-5 lead. Bulls dominated the game with successful
raids by Pawan. Telegu Titans got 2 points as Vishal Bhardwaj tackled Pawan.
Bulls continued to dominate the game with raid points and brilliant defense.
Bulls had a commanding 21-14 lead at the half-time.
After the half time also, Bulls continued their impressive
performance as Telegu Titans were all out when Siddarth Desai was tackled by
Pawan. Mahender Singh got 2 points as he tackled Armaan to lead Bulls charge in
the game. Again Bulls earned a Super tackle as Mohit Sherawat dismissed Farhad
and make matter worst for Telegu Titans in the game. Mahender Singh earned a
Super 5 and led Bulls to a commanding 47-26 win.
For Telegu Titans, Siddarth Desai was the top scorer with 10
raid points and 1 bonus point. Pawan Sherawat was exceptional with his all-round
performance with 8 raid points, 3 tackle, and 6 bonus points.
As far stats are concerned, Bulls earned 21 points as
compared to 16 raid points. Both earned 1 Super raid each. Bulls dominated in
the tackle points also with 19 as compared to 10 of Telegu Titans. The
defending Champions Bulls got Telegu twice as compared to 0. With this win
Bulls moved up to number 3rd with 20 points with 4 wins. On the
other hand, Telegu still remains at the bottom of the table.
