After the power play overs, Perth captain Mitchell Marsh and
Cameron Green steadied the innings for Perth taking singles and hitting occasional
boundaries. As things were looking good for Perth, Green tried to hit a big
shot and was dismissed by Manenti for 36. Green and Marsh added 58 runs for the
5th wicket. Sixers bowlers kept picking wickets at regular intervals
which made the life tough for Perth batsmen. Fawad Ahmed hit a quick fire 19
off 9 balls. Perth were bowled out for 131 in 20 overs. Tom Curran was the pick
of bowlers for Sydney with 3 for 32.
Chasing 132 runs to win, Daniel Hughes and Phillipe got Sydney

six overs, the hosts were in a commanding position at 58 for 0.

breakthrough for Perth dismissing Daniel Hughes for 22. Sydney Sixers openers
added 73 runs for opening wicket. Philippe continued his positive approach and
looked comfortable with his stroke making. Jordan picked his 2nd
