He made his T20I debut for India against Zimbabwe on 11th
June 2016. Since then he has played 42 matches (38 innings) with 1461 runs at a

centuries in T20I format. He has hit 2 centuries and 11 half-centuries to his
name. His best knock came against West Indies in the first T20I match played at
Lauderhill, the United States on 27th August 2016.

and produced magical innings remaining not out on 110 off 51 balls which

balls in the first T20I match played at Old Trafford, Manchester on 3rd

His best score in the shorter format is 145* off 65 balls against Sri Lanka on
6th September at Palleke International Stadium, Kandy. During this
epic knock, he hit 14 fours and 9 sixes which helped Australia win the match
easily.
His 2nd century came against England, which was
played at Bellerive Oval, Hobart on 7th February 2018. Maxwell made
a brilliant 103 off 58 balls with 10 fours and 4 sixes which resulted in
Australia’s win.
During the last tour of India, Maxwell scored a breath-taking
113* off 55 at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore on 27th February 2019. He hit 7
