5 batsmen who can break Yuvraj Singh fastest fifty record in T20Is
The first T20 international match was played between
Australia and New Zealand on 17th February 2005. In 2007, the first World T20 Cup took place which revolutionized T20I cricket.
In the T20I format, one of the batsmen can change the course
of the game with their power hitting. There are many top-quality players from
every team who can do their job and put the opposition bowlers under immense
pressure.
In modern-day T20I cricket, the decision of the match
depends upon the pace of which batsmen play their innings. They need to take advantage of the first six overs and lay down a strong foundation for a
massive total.
Yuvraj Singh holds the record of the fastest fifty record
which he scored off 12 balls in the ICC World T20 2007 against England played at
Kingsmead.
Here we look at the 5 batsmen who can break Yuvraj Singh
fastest fifty records in T20Is
1.
KL Rahul
He made his T20I debut for India against Zimbabwe on 11th
June 2016. Since then he has played 42 matches (38 innings) with 1461 runs at a
strike rate of 146.10.

centuries in T20I format. He has hit 2 centuries and 11 half-centuries to his
name. His best knock came against West Indies in the first T20I match played at

target by just 1 run.

balls in the first T20I match played at Old Trafford, Manchester on 3rd

In recent times, Rahul has been in sensational form with 224
runs from 5 matches in the historic whitewash over New Zealand in their own
den. For his brilliant consistency, he
was awarded the man of the series. With Shikhar Dhawan missing, the
right-handed batsman has all the strokes which makes him a dangerous player. He
has all the potential to break Yuvraj Singh’s record of the fastest fifty in T20Is.
Playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the 2016 IPL
season was a turning point. He scored 397 runs from 14 matches with the best
score of 68*. He has shown tremendous consistency for Kings XI Punjab in 2018
and the 2019 season.

on 21st April 2011. Since then he has played 49 matches (41 innings)
with 540 runs at a strike rate of 151.26.

Indies T20I team. Before the lockdown came, Russell played two quickfire
knocks.
In the first T20I match against Sri Lanka, he made 35 off 14

hard-hitting batsman can create an impact with his big-hitting and help the
Indian team score big runs.
