Indian women’s tour of Australia schedule announced.

The Indian women’s team will take on the mighty Australian women’s team in a 3 matches ODI, T20Is, and historic pink-ball Day-night Test match.

After playing a Test against England in June, the Indian women’s team would be playing their first day-night fixture to be played at WACA Stadium, Perth. It promises to be an exciting series as the Australian team would look to dominate India in their own conditions. The series would start on 19th September and finish on 11th October 2021.

The top two cricketing teams in the world would be looking to showcase their skills in all formats. The last time, the Indian women’s team played a Test match on Australian soil was 2006. There are some top-quality on both sides and hope to see lots of crowds on the ground.

The Indian team will be looking to put their best foot forward in the day-night Test match against a strong Australian unit at WACA, Perth known for its pace and bounce. On the other hand, the Australian women’s team played their first day-night Test match against England.

Apart from this historic match, the Indian women’s team would be looking to gain match time in ODIs to prepare for the 50 Overs Women’s World Cup to be played in 2022.

Indian women versus Australian women, Day-night Test match (WACA Ground, Perth)- 30th September- 3rd October

1.       Indian women versus Australian women (North Sydney Oval)- 7th October


2.       Indian women versus Australian women (North Sydney Oval)- 9th October


3.       Indian women versus Australian women (North Sydney Oval)- 11th October

Asia Champions Trophy 2024: India Enters Finals With Commanding Win

  The defending Champions India registered a commanding win in the 2 nd semi-finals against South Korea of the Asian Champions Trophy 2024 played in Hulunbir, Inner Mongolia on 16 th September. Indian team began the first quarter on a good note with Abhishek's reverse flick shot saved by Korean goalkeeper Kim Jahean. After the initial domination, a superb pass by Arijit with a goal by Uttam Singh in the 13 th minute to give India a 1-0 lead. Soon after, Korea’s two penalty corners before the third penalty corner as the shot hits Sumit’s body.   At the end of the first quarter, India led 1-0. The second quarter began off superbly for the Indian team as they put pressure on the Korean defense. Harmanpreet Singh converted the second penalty corner in the 19 th minute to double the lead. ICC T20 World Cup 2024 Super 8: England Qualify For Semi-Finals With Thrashing Of USA

  The defending Champions England qualified for the semi-finals with a thrashing of the USA in a must-win game played at Kensington Oval, Barbados on 23 rd June 2024. England captain Jos Buttler won the toss and decided to field first. Reece Topley struck in the first over dismissing Andries Gous with a simple catch to Salt. Nitish Kumar and Steve Taylor steadied the ship for the USA. Sam Curran dismissed Steve Taylor caught by Moeen Ali. Taylor and Nitish Kumar added 34 runs for the 2 nd wicket. It was a disciplined bowling effort by the England bowlers as they kept picking wickets at regular intervals. Sam Curran struck to dismiss Harmeet Singh. Chris Jordan became the first England bowler to grab a hat trick in the T20I format. Jordan dismissed Corey Anderson, Ali Khan, and Kenjige.
