Australia and England announce their squads for the 2nd Test match

 England and Australia will take on each other in the 2nd Test match to be played at Adelaide Oval, Adelaide. This match would be a day-night fixture.

The Australian Cricket Team produced a dominating display in the first match played at Gabba, Brisbane with 9 wicket win. Thanks to a superb bowling display by the Australian pacers especially captain Pat Cummins grabbing 5 wickets helped them to skittle England out for 147. Thanks to brilliant knocks by Warner, Labuschagne, and Travis Head century kept the visitors on the backfoot with 278 runs lead.

Despite Joe Root and Dawid Malan's partnership on the 3rd day, the Australian bowlers wrapped the innings up bowling out England for 297. Australia earned a well-deserved 9 wicket win.  Carey. For his 112, Travis Head was named of the match.

Australia has a great record at Adelaide Oval, especially in day-night matches. They have played 8 Pink Ball Test matches since 2015 and won all of them. On the other hand, England lost its previous day-night match when they visited on Australian soil in the last Ashes series.

England will be looking to make a comeback with a much better performance with both bat and bowl. Joe Root and Dawid Malan performed well in the 2nd innings with 80 plus scores but could not convert it into big scores.

Australia will be looking to continue its domination over the opponents in day-night Test matches. The last time Australia played at Adelaide Oval, Hazlewood and Cummins created havoc skittling India for their lowest total of 36 in the 2nd innings.

On the other hand, the experienced duo of James Anderson and Stuart Broad has been included in the 12-member squad.
