Finn Allen became 5th Kiwi player to smash century in T20I format
The talented hard-hitting batsman Finn Allen joined the list of New Zealand batsmen to hit a century in the T20I format. He achieved this feat during the 1st T20I match against Scotland played in Edinburgh on Wednesday.
Scotland's newly appointed captain Richard Berrington won the toss
and decided to field first. Finn Allen came to open the innings along with
Martin Guptill. Finn Allen looked in great touch right from the word go and
never allowed Scotland bowlers to settle while Guptill remained steady. At the end
of the first six overs, New Zealand openers scored 48 for 0.
Guptill and Allen added 85 runs for the opening wicket laying
a strong foundation for a big total. Allen smashed his fifty off 33 balls

the momentum along with Allen. Allen displayed great hitting abilities and

with a brilliant 9 deliveries and 30 runs to help New Zealand post a massive total
of 225 for 5.

partnership of 62 runs, Kiwi bowlers kept picking wickets at regular intervals.
