All you need to know about 2022 Asia Cup qualifying tournament
The 2022 Asia Cup qualifying tournament is about to start on 20th August to be played in Muscat, Oman. Four teams will take part including Hong Kong, Kuwait, Singapore, and United Arab Emirates. The winner of this qualifying tournament would be grouped with Pakistan and India in Group A of the main round starting on 27th August 2022.
Due to Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates reaching the finals Western
Region Group also advanced to the Asia Cup qualifying tournament. Singapore and
Hong Kong progressed as the top two teams from the Eastern Region Group thus
joining Kuwait and UAE in the Asia Cup qualifiers.
Each team will play the other team once and the team with the most
points will qualify as the third team along with India and Pakistan in Group A of the main round.
