Hockey World Cup 2023: All you need to know about the tournament
The stage is set as India will be hosting the 2023 Hockey World Cup to be played in Rourkela and Bhuvneshwar on 13 January onwards.
This Hockey World Cup includes 16 teams divided into 4
groups. The top team in each group will progress into the quarterfinals
directly while the 2nd and 3rd team will play crossovers
from other group.
Belgium is the defending Champion of the Hockey World Cup that
they won in 2018. It promises to be an exciting tournament as India will be
looking to end its medal drought in the prestigious event.
