IPL 2023 Match 58: 3 Players Who Could Score Most Runs Between SRH and LSG

Sunrisers Hyderabad will host Lucknow Super Giants in the first match of double header to be played at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad at 3.30 PM on 13 May 2023.

It promises to be an exciting encounter as Sunrisers Hyderabad registered a thrilling win over Rajasthan Royals away from home and would look to stay alive in the tournament with victory.

On other hand, Lucknow Super Giants would be hoping to comeback from a big defeat against Gujarat Titans.

Both teams have decent batting units that can change the course of the game and put enough pressure on opponent bowlers.

1.       Quinton de Kock

Quinton de Kock played his first match of the tournament against Gujarat Titans. He looked in fine touch putting pressure on Gujarat Titans bowlers while opening with Kyle Mayers. De Kock showed intent right from the word go and kept them under pressure.

The South African opener did not feature before the GT match. Kock made 70 off 41 balls with 7 fours and 3 sixes helping Lucknow Super Giants provide excellent start. Despite his innings, Lucknow Super Giants lost the match by a massive margin.

He would play a key role in providing an aggressive start along with Kyle Mayers in the first six overs and keep Sunrisers Hyderabad under pressure.

2.       Abhishek Sharma

Abhishek Sharma looked in decent touch during the previous game against Rajasthan Royals at Sawai Man Singh Stadium, Jaipur. Chasing down a massive target, Sharma looked in good touch putting pressure on opponent bowlers with positive shots.

He made an impressive 55 and laid strong foundation for Sunrisers Hyderabad with a memorable run chase against RR. His role is to attack the bowlers from word go making life tough for opponent bowlers.

Abhishek Sharma would play a key role in tomorrow’s match to put enough pressure on LSG bowlers in the first six overs and lay strong foundation for a big total.

3.       Kyle Mayers

Kyle Mayers has been in decent touch for Lucknow Super Giants this season so far. Chasing down 228 runs in the previous match against Gujarat Titans, Mayers showed his class with some lovely shots and kept LSG with brilliant opening partnership with Quinton de Kock.

With the stakes of playoff berth on line, Kyle Mayers would look to play another brilliant knock against Sunrisers Hyderabad bowlers. He made quickfire 48 off 32 deliveries and just showed his brilliant strokes.

He would be eager to showcase his aggressive intent against SRH and help Lucknow Super Giants win the match with some big shots.

  The men’s doubles pairing of Satwik/Chirag entered the quarterfinals while other 3 Indians lost in the 2 nd round of the Super 1000 Indonesia Open played at Jakarta on 5 th June 2025. Satwik/Chirag Shetty edged past R Kjaer and Sogaard of Denmark in three games. The first game began with both pairs fighting for each point. Kjaer and Sogaard displayed great service skills.
