All You Need To Know About Indian W Versus NZ Women ODI Series 2024

The White Ferns will face off against the Indian team in a 3-match ODI series starting from 24th October 2024 to be played at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad.

It promises to be an exciting series as the newly crowned T20 champions White Ferns would look for a good performance in the ODI series against the Indian team. These three matches are a part of the ICC ODI World Championship for 2022-25. Indian team qualified directly being the host of the 50-over Cup to be played in India next year.

On the other hand, White Ferns is currently in the number 6th position with 18 points including 8 wins, 8 losses &2 no-results. The top five teams including hosts India would qualify directly for the World Cup 2025.

These three matches would be day-night fixtures starting at 1.30 PM IST. It promises to be an exciting contest between Indian Women& New Zealand Women. Indian women’s team would look to start from fresh as they suffered a first-round exit in the 2024 T20 World Cup played in Dubai and Sharjah.

Asia Champions Trophy 2024: India Enters Finals With Commanding Win

  The defending Champions India registered a commanding win in the 2 nd semi-finals against South Korea of the Asian Champions Trophy 2024 played in Hulunbir, Inner Mongolia on 16 th September. Indian team began the first quarter on a good note with Abhishek's reverse flick shot saved by Korean goalkeeper Kim Jahean. After the initial domination, a superb pass by Arijit with a goal by Uttam Singh in the 13 th minute to give India a 1-0 lead. Soon after, Korea’s two penalty corners before the third penalty corner as the shot hits Sumit’s body.   At the end of the first quarter, India led 1-0.   The defending Champions England qualified for the semi-finals with a thrashing of the USA in a must-win game played at Kensington Oval, Barbados on 23 rd June 2024. England captain Jos Buttler won the toss and decided to field first. Reece Topley struck in the first over dismissing Andries Gous with a simple catch to Salt. Nitish Kumar and Steve Taylor steadied the ship for the USA. Sam Curran dismissed Steve Taylor caught by Moeen Ali. Taylor and Nitish Kumar added 34 runs for the 2 nd wicket.
