Pak vs Eng 2nd Test: England and Pakistan Announce Playing XI
England and
Pakistan named their playing 11 for the 2nd test match to be played
at Multan Cricket Stadium, Multan from 15th October onwards. England
produced a dominating performance in the first test match. After conceding 556
runs in the first innings, Harry Brook’s 317 and Root’s 262, Crawley, Duckett’s
fifties ensured that the visitors posted a massive total of 823 for 7 declared.
The England
bowling showed great control bundling Pakistan out for 220 in the second
innings to register a remarkable inning and 47 runs victory.
England
would look to showcase their winning momentum in the second test match. Ben Stokes
will return as captain while Matthew Potts will replace Gus Atkinson in the
playing XI.
As far as
Pakistan is concerned, there are four changes in the playing XI. Aamer Jamal is
the only pacer included in the playing XI. Nauman Ali, Zahid Mahmood &Sajid
Khan will be a part of the squad. Kamran Ghulam will make his debut replacing
Babar Azam in the playing XI.
Ben Stokes
replaced Woakes while Potts replaced Atkinson in the playing XI for the 2nd
test match. With the inclusion of three spinners, Pakistan would be hoping that
these three would create an impact.
