Pakistan versus Zimbabwe 2nd Test 3rd Day: Pakistan on the verge of a big win

  It was another dominating display by the Pakistani team as they are one wicket away from winning on the 3 rd day of the 2 nd Test match played at Harare Sports Club, Harare on Sunday. Starting on the overnight score of 52 for 4, Zimbabwe got off to the worst possible start as Chisoro was brilliantly caught by Imran Butt at slips. Regis Chakabva looked good with his defensive technique and played some attacking strokes. Abid Ali took a lovely catch to end the innings for Chakabva to leave Zimbabwe in tatters. Luke Jongwe impressed with his technique before Hasan Ali produced a beauty to get rid of him. Donald Tiripano showed some solid defensive technique against good quality bowling.   Thanks to brilliant performances by Abid and Nauman Ali, Pakistan ended the 2 nd day of the 2 nd Test match against Zimbabwe in a commanding position played at Harare Sports Club, Harare on Saturday. Starting on the overnight score of 268 for 4, Sajid Khan survived few anxious moments against Muzabrani and Ngarava. Abid Ali played with solid defense technique and hit the bad balls away for boundaries. A superb one-handed catch by Chakabva resulted in the wicket of Sajid Khan. Sajid Khan and Abid Ali added 39 runs for the 5 th wicket. Abid Ali remained solid and completed his 150 off 317 balls. Mohammad Rizwan also played some attacking strokes before trying to accelerate gave a simple catch to Ngarava off Chisoro bowling. Rizwan and Abid Ali added 37 runs for the 6 th wicket. India squad for ICC World Test Championship finals and England tour announced.

  The Board Cricket Control of India have announced squads for the ICC World Test Championship finals to be played from 18 th -22 nd June at Rose Bowl, Southampton with 23 rd being the reserve day. It looks like a strong squad with Mayank Agarwal, Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill are the 3 openers included in the squad. Cheteshwar Pujara, Virat Kohli, Ajiyanka Rahane, Hanuma Vihari comprise the middle order. Ravindra Jadeja and Mohammed Shami make a comeback into the team after getting injured in the Australian tour. The left-handed batsman Pant has been included as the wicketkeeper while Saha would travel subject to fitness. Saha suffered COVID last week and hoping to recover soon. In the pace bowling department, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami, Ishant Sharma, Umesh Yadav, Mohammed Siraj, Shardul Thakur have been included.   Despite Abid Ali and Azhar Ali superb partnership, Blessing Muzabrani showed great bowling skills to end the first day on even keel played at the Harare Sports Club, Harare on Friday. Pakistan captain Babar Azam won the toss and decided to bat first. It was a cautious start Abid Ali and Imran Butt against good, disciplined bowling by Ngarva and Muzabrani.   In the latest ICC Test rankings announced on Thursday, the 23-year-old Indian wicketkeeper Risbah Pant achieved his career-best rankings. It has been a remarkable rise for the explosive batsman. He made his Test debut for India in the 3 rd Test match against England at Trent Bridge on 18 th August 2018. Pant started his innings with a six.
