Tri Series 2025: All You Need To Know

  The Tri-nation series between Indian Women, Sri Lankan Women & South African Women will start from 27 th April 2025. It promises to be an exciting tournament with all teams preparing for the 50-over World Cup that will take place later this year. All three teams would be looking for an ideal combination before that mega event. They need to showcase their skills against two good teams and gain confidence. Badminton Asia Championship 2025: Another Disappointing Day For Indian Shuttlers

  The Indian shuttlers had a disappointing outing as most of them were knocked out in the 2 nd round of the prestigious Badminton Asia Championship 2025 played at Ningbo, China on 10 th April. Kiran George went down fighting to Kulvant Vitisdarn of Thailand. The first game was a closely fought affair as both players got alternate points. It ebbed and flowed till the end before Kiran won the first set with a narrow scoreline of 21-19. Kulvant showed his domination in the second game putting enough pressure on Kiran, winning it easily by 21-13. The third game began on an even keel with both players fighting for each point. During the mid-game break, Kulvant had a slender lead. After the break, it was a tough fight before the Thai player showed his class to take points in succession to win the deciding game by 21-16. Badminton Asia Championship 2025: Disappointing Day For Indian Shuttlers

  The Indian shuttlers had a disappointing day with the likes of Kiran George, Pranshu Rajawat & PV Sindhu making it in the second round of the Badminton Asia Championship 2025 played at Ningbo, China on 9 th April. HS Prannoy opened the day for the Indian contingent. He suffered a three-game loss to Lu GZ of China. The first game saw Lu putting on an excellent display of badminton putting enough pressure on the Indian by winning the first set easily at 21-16. Prannoy made a strong comeback with a great display putting enough pressure on Lu winning the second game easily at 21-12. The third game was a one-sided affair as Lu played attacking badminton winning with a commanding scoreline of 21-10. Lakshya Sen’s poor form continued with a straight-game loss to Lee C-h of Chinese Taipei. The first game was a closely fought affair as Sen lost with a scoreline of 18-21.   It was a historic moment for Scottish Cricket as they defeated favorites West Indies in their opening match of the ICC World Cup qualifiers played at Lahore City Cricket Association Stadium, Lahore on 9 th April 2025. West Indies captain Hayley Mathews won the toss and decided to field first. Abbi Aitken Drummond & Darcey Carter got off to a cautious start keeping the scoreboard ticking with lovely shots. At the end of the first 10 overs, the Scotland openers made 41 for 0. West Indies captain Mathews struck dismissing Drummond with a simple catch to Alleyne. The Scotland openers put on 48 runs for the opening wicket. Mathews struck two more times in quick succession getting rid of Kathrine Bryce & Darcey Carter to leave Scotland struggling.   Punjab Kings registered their 3 rd win of IPL 2025 with a thrilling 18-run win over Chennai Super Kings in a high-scoring thriller played at Mullanpur on 8 th April. PBKS captain Shreyas Iyer won the toss and decided to bat first. Priyansh Arya showed intent right from the word go putting pressure on CSK bowlers. The hosts lost quick wickets of Prabhsimran Singh, Shreyas Iyer & Marcus Stoinis cheaply inside the first six overs. Priyansh Arya looked in sublime touch smashing CSK bowlers all over the park keeping the momentum for PBKS. PBKS raced away to 75 for 3 at the end of the first six overs.   The Badminton Asia Championship 2025 will see the top Asian shuttlers taking part in the prestigious tournament starting from 8 th April in Ningbo Olympic Sports Center Gymnasium, Ningbo. It will be a tough challenge for the Indian shuttlers as they are struggling for form this year so far. HS Prannoy, Kiran George, Pranshu Rajawat, and Lakshya Sen will be taking part in the men’s singles section. HS Prannoy will face Lu GZ of China in the first round. Lakshya Sen would take on Lee C-h of Chinese Taipei. Sen will look to prove his worth with a top-quality performance against the 2025 All England Badminton Championship silver medalists. Pranshu Rajawat will take on Wangchareon of Thailand in the first round. The women’s singles will see PV Sindhu, Malvika Bansod, Akarshi Kashyap, Anupama Upadhyaya in action.   Gujarat Titans showed their skills with a dominating win over RCB played at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru on 2 nd April 2025. GT captain Shubman Gill won the toss and decided to field first. It was an ideal start for visitors as Arshad Khan got rid of Virat Kohli with a simple catch to Prasidh Krishna at deep square leg. Mohammed Siraj delivered a lovely delivery getting rid of Paddikal to leave RCB in trouble. After being smacked for a 105 m six, Siraj came back strongly to dismiss Phil Salt shattering the stumps.
