Predicted India XI for 3rd T20

India and England will face in the deciding T20 at the M Chinaswamy Stadium, Bangalore to be played tomorrow. The pitch is expected to help the batsmen and with the series on line it promises to be mouthwatering clash. After winning the second T20 by 5 runs, India will be looking win the series while England would love to end the tour on a high. India announces squad for one test match against Bangladesh

The BCCI has announced 16 man squad for one off test match against Bangladesh to be played at Hyderabad starting from 9 th February. Abhinav Mukund has made a comeback into the team after a gap of five years. The Tamil Nadu opener had a good season in the 2016/17 Ranji Season. Murali Vijay, Rahane,  Jayant Yadav, Hardik Pandya and Saha has made a comeback into the team after sustaining injuries in the test series against England that was played in November and December which the Indian team won 4-0. Parthiv Patel who was included in the last three test matches against England has been dropped, Manish Pandey too has been dropped after being selected in squad for the fourth and fifth test match against England. Indian fast bowler Mohammad Shami is not there in the squad who missed the last 2 test matches against England due to a leg injury. Despite Marcus Stoinis brilliant effort with the bat, New Zealand defeated Australia by 6 runs in the first One day international at Eden Park, Auckland earlier today. It was an exciting match with both teams looking to secure the lead in 3 match series. Australia won the toss and elected to field. New Zealand got off to a worse start losing an early wicket of Tom Latham at the score of 13. At the end of first 10 overs the hosts were 62 for 1. The second partnership between Martin Guptil and Kane Williamson put on 74 runs for the second wicket. New Zealand lost wickets at regular intervals and were struggling at 134 for 5 in  26 th over. At the end of 30 overs, New Zealand was 167 for 5. Jimmy Neesham and Neil Broom rescued the New Zealand innings putting on 76 runs for the sixth wicket.  Neil Broom scored his half century in 56 balls. New Zealand scored 286 for 9 in 50 overs. India level the series with a thrilling win in second T20

India beat England by 5 runs in the second T20 at VCA Stadium, Nagpur just finished few minutes ago. England bowled well to restrict India to 144 but the Indian bowlers did a remarkable job to help the hosts level the series at 1-1. England won the toss and elected to field again. The Indian openers Virat Kohli and KL Rahul gave the team a steady start putting on 30 runs for the first wicket before Virat Kohli was dismissed for 21. At the end of six overs India was 46 for 1. Suresh Raina, Yuvraj Singh did not contribute too much with the bat. KL Rahul played some excellent strokes off the spinners and put pressure on the England bowlers. KL Rahul completed his half century in 32 balls. After the dismissal of KL Rahul for 71, none of Indian batsmen were able to score runs freely. India scored 144 for 8 in 20 overs. England defeated India in the first T20 by 7 wickets at Green Park, Kanpur just finished few minutes ago. After winning the toss, England bowled well and restricted India to a modest total of 147 and then chased down the target with ease. England won the toss and choose to field. The Indian openers Virat Kohli and KL Rahul gave the team a solid start putting on 34 for the first wicket. KL Rahul was the first batsmen to be dismissed for 8. At the end of first six overs India was 47 for 1. In the 8 th over captain Kohli was dismissed for 29. After that none of the Indian batsmen scored runs at brisk pace as wickets fell at regular intervals. Manish Pandey, Hardik Pandya did not contribute. Ranji Trophy finals Day 5: Gujarat creates history by winning their first Ranji title

Parthiv Patel brilliant 143 ensured that Gujarat created history by beating Mumbai in exciting finals of Ranji Trophy 2016/17. Gujarat won the finals by 5 wickets. Starting the day on 47 for 0, Gujarat lost 2 early wickets of Panchal and Merai only adding 4 runs. Parthiv Patel and Samit Gohel put on 38 runs for the third wicket before Samit Gohel was dismissed by Nayar. Parthiv Patel and Manprit Juneja attacked the Mumbai bowlers. Parthiv Patel was lucky at the start of the innings being dropped and the ball not going hitting into stumps. The captain Parthiv Patel completed his half century in 71 balls. Mumbai have fought back well into the match. The last four wickets added just 37 runs and Gujarat got a lead of 100 runs. In reply Prithvi Shaw scored a quick fire 44 runs in 35 balls. The 3 rd wicket partnership of SuryaKumar Yadav and Iyer added 127 runs. At the end of third day’s play Mumbai was still not out of danger of losing the match as they were 208 for 3 with lead of 108 runs.
