Thanks to a marathon knock by Warner and bowlers give Australia complete control at the end of day 2 of the 2 nd Test match played at Adelaide Oval on Saturday. Starting on the overnight score of 302 for 1, David Warner and Marnus Labuschagne continued from where they left on first day. Warner played with positive intent putting pressure on the listless Pakistan bowling line up. Shaheen Shah Afridi finally got the breakthrough for Pakistan dismissing Labuschagne for 162. It was a great day of cricket as Karnataka will face against Tamil Nadu in the finals of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2019. After the league stage of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2019, two teams from each group have made it into the Super League stage of the tournament. From Group A, Baroda and Karnataka have made it into the Super League stage. Both Baroda and Karnataka earned 20 points each winning 5 matches and losing 1 match each, but due to better run rate, Baroda finished top of points table. Tamil Nadu finished top of Group with 5 wins and 1 loss with a total of 20 points. Rajasthan qualified for the Super League coming 2 nd with 4 wins and 2 losses with 16 points. Vidarbha and Kerala had 16 points each but due to poor run rate, both could not qualify for next round. Maharashtra and Punjab qualified the Super League stage from Group C. The Indian challenge ended as Kidambi Srikanth went down fighting to local boy Lee Chik Yu of Hong Kong in two straight sets by 9-21, 23-25 in the semi-finals of Super 500 Hong Kong Open played on Saturday.
