  The league of the Under 19 T20I Women’s World Cup 2025 ended. It was an excellent group stage game with impressive performances from associate nations and qualifying for the Super Six stage. A total of 4 groups with 4 teams each took part. The top three teams in each group progressed of the Super Six Stage. Here we look at the Results of Group Stage Matches Group A The defending champions India finished at the top of Pool A with commanding wins over West Indies, Malaysia& Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka finished second on the points table with commanding wins over hosts Malaysia& West Indies. West Indies emerged as the number 3 position in the points table.   The Indian Cricket Team started the T20I series against the visiting England side with a dominating win played at Eden Gardens, Kolkata on 22 nd January 2025. Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav won the toss and decided to field first. It was an ideal start as Arshdeep Singh struck in the first over itself with a lovely delivery surprising Phil Salt providing a simple catch to Sanju Samson. Jos Buttler showed intent putting some pressure on the Indian bowlers. Arshdeep Singh became the leading wicket-taker for India in T20I format dismissing Ben Duckett with a sharp running catch by Rinku Singh. Jos Buttler smashed 4 boundaries against Hardik Pandya. BBL 2024-25 Knockout: Sydney Thunder Beat Melbourne Stars

  Sydney Thunder registered a comprehensive win over Melbourne Stars in the knockout match played at Engine Stadium, Sydney on 22 nd January 2025. Melbourne Stars captain Marcus Stoinis won the toss and decided to field first. Tom Curran took an important wicket in the first over itself dismissing Thunder captain David Warner with a good catch at midwicket. Matthew Gilkes showed intent right from the word go putting enough pressure on the Stars bowling. Gilkes survived a close catch shout which was given not out after replays.
