IPL 2021 Match 44: CSK qualify for the playoffs with a convincing win over SRH
Chennai Super Kings became the first team this year to qualify for the playoffs stage with a comprehensive win over SRH played at Sharjah Cricket Stadium, Sharjah on Thursday. CSK captain MS Dhoni won the toss and decided to field first. Wriddihman Saha started the innings off to a brilliant start taking on CSK bowlers especially Deepak Chahar. Josh Hazlewood got rid of last-match hero Jason Roy providing an easy catch to Dhoni. SRH captain Williamson showed some intent. At the end of the first six overs, Williamson and Saha helped SRH score 41 for 1. Dwayne Bravo deceived Williamson with a slower delivery given out by the umpire. CSK bowlers kept the pressure on SRH batsmen especially on Priyam Garg struggling for runs. Bravo struck again to get rid of Garg to leave SRH in trouble.
