 The England bowlers produced a great display of bowling to register a thumping win on the 4 th morning of the 3 rd Test match played at Headingly, Leeds on Saturday. Joe Root decided to take the 2 nd new ball immediately. James Anderson and Ollie Robinson troubled both experienced batsmen of the Indian team. Cheteshwar Pujara missed judged the line as he did not offer any shot. The umpire gave it not out and the decision was overturned to out ending 99 runs partnership for the 4 th wicket. After struggling initially, James Anderson produced some beauties making life tough for Indian captain Virat Kohli. Kohli survived a close caught behind shout as he was given out but on review, the decision was overturned due to the ball hitting the pad before bat.  The Indian men’s and women’s hockey teams achieved great heights during the recently concluded Tokyo Olympics. After finishing wooden spoon in the Rio Olympics, the Indian women’s team showed great character in Tokyo Olympics. Under the captaincy of Rani Rampal, they were thrashed by Netherlands 1-5, Germany 0-2, and then Great Britain 1-4 in the first three matches. Needing to stay alive in the tournament, the Indian team played attacking hockey against Ireland earning 14 penalty corners but did not convert into goals. With 3 minutes left, a superb deflection touch by Navneet Kaur helped India take the lead. The Indian defense stood tall and held their nerves to win it by 1-0.  It was an amazing batting display of batting by Jamaica Tallawahs smashing the St Lucia Kings bowlers all over the park in their opening match of CPL 2021 played at Warner Park, St Kitts on Friday.  It was an entertaining start of this year’s CPL season as Guyana Amazon Warriors and St Kitts and Nevis Patriots register wins played at Warner Park, St Kitts on Thursday. Guyana Amazon Warriors stunned defending Champions Trinbago Knight Riders easily in the opening encounter. TKR captain Kieron Pollard won the toss and decided to field first.  Afghanistan genius Rashid Khan provides another match-winning effort with both bat and ball during the 1 st quarterfinals of Natwest T20 Blast 2021 played at Riverside Ground, Chester E- Street on Tuesday. Indian women's to tour Australia announced

 The Indian selectors announced the squad for their big tour of Australia to be played from next month. It comprises of 3 ODIs, a one-off Test, and 3 T20Is. All the top Indian players who participated in the Hundred tournament including Smriti Mandhana, Harmanpreet Kaur, Shafali Verma, Jemimah Rodrigues, Deepti Sharma has been included in both squads. Groups and schedule for the Thomas and Uber Cup announced

 In governing body meeting taken place in Kuala Lumpur today, the schedule and groups for the prestigious Thomas and Uber Cup have been announced. On 29 th April 2020, the tournament was postponed to 3 rd to 11 th October due to COVID pandemic. Again, on 15 th September, it was again postponed. The prestigious Thomas and Uber Cup will be held from 9 th -17 th October at Arhus, Denmark. There are 16 teams divided into four groups in both tournaments. The top two teams in each group will qualify for the knockouts. The Quarterfinals line up will take from 15 th October while the semi-finals on 16 th . The finals will take on 17 th October.  The International Cricket Council announced the schedule for the prestigious ICC World T20 2021 to be played in the United Arab Emirates and Oman starting from 17 th October to 14 th November. Firstly, the qualifying rounds will be played from 17 th October. 4 teams divided into two groups with 2 will make it into Super 12 stages. After the qualifying rounds, Super 12 stages will begin as 6 teams divided into two groups, two teams will make it into the knockout rounds.  Thanks to the special effort, the Indian Cricket Team registered a historic win over England in a thrilling contest on the fifth and final day of 2 nd Test match played at Lords, London on Monday. The England captain Joe Root decided to take the 2 nd new ball immediately. Starting on the overnight score of 181 for 6, Rishabh Pant played a lovely stroke coming down hitting a boundary to James Anderson.
