  It was an amazing league stage as 8 teams made it into the quarterfinals of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy T20 tournament. From Group A, Punjab and Karnataka made into the last 8 stage. Punjab finished top of the points winning all their matches. The first two quarterfinals will be played on 26 th January while 3 rd and 4 th quarterfinals would be played on 27 th January at the newly laid Motera Stadium, Ahmedabad.
